Textile industry

Pigment removal during effluent pretreatment process is essential in textile industry. Pigments for synthetic and cotton textile industry are very stable in environment and resistant to biological digestion, thus proper removal of the pigments from effluents directly in plant is the only economical way. If plant makes closed water cycle, sophisticated methods of water treatment like reverse osmosis can be required, but in all the cases removal of pigments by means of flocculation and coagulation and further going sedimentation, flotation or filtration is necessary.

We offer:

  • Synthetic coagulants that can fully replace metal salts.
  • Flocculants that enhance the effect of coagulation and color removal
  • Special powder sorbents, that especially effectively adsorb pigments from cotton textile effluents.

Our specially designed Poliflock SM synthetic coagulant brands can replace aluminum and iron salts, that are intensively used for textile industry treatment. The benefits are as follows:

  • Complete removal of color. This covers also the red color, which is especially difficult to remove with metal salts.
  • Very low dosages. Usually it is enough few grams per m3.
  • Very small amount of sludge formed comparing with usage of metal coagulants (because of small coagulant dosages).
  • Synthetic coagulants are not aggressive and not dangerous to environment and human health.

Our experienced specialists are ready to make laboratory and industrial trials for selection the optimal reagent schemes for pigments removal. We can consult on all questions of physical - chemical textile effluent treatment, reagent selection and dosages.
