Case 1. Meat factory effluent.
Meat factory from manufacturing and slaughter had effluent with high BOD - 4000-6000mg/l, fats up to 500mg/l. Waste water after the treatment with flotation unit is discharged to city's waste water system. Requirenments for discharge are BOD uo to 1000mg/l, fats up to 100mg/l. Because of pollution overloading to the city's system, factory payed big fines.
Our technicians found that organic and non-organic coagulant combination plus anionic flocculant give good results for treatment. After implementing reagents usage before flotation systems, treatment results are BOD-800mg/l, fats 50-70mg/l. The cost for reagents was relatively very small compare which earlier payed fines for high pollution.

Case 2. Fiberglass factory
The effluent from manufacturing reaching flotation system was highly polluted COD up to 10000mg/l. For pollutants removal factory used coagulant ferric chloride with dosage 3kg/m3 and flocculant with dosage 1-5g/m3. The results were satisfying, but coagulant usage was very high and thus expensive. Ferric chloride in this case was stored in 1m3 tanks and took big place in WWTP. Also ferric chloride is aggresive liquid with special storage conditions.
Our technicians found that instead of ferric chloride better to use special kind of bentonite as coagulant. The dosage was approx. 1-1,5kg/m3 and the results were good. Bentonite is a powder non agressive non toxic. The factory switched from ferric chloride to bentonite. The treatment cost was lower, less sludge after treatment with flotator was produced.
Case 3. Water separation from used oil.
Used oil treatment enterprise gets oil with high content of water (50%). As the oil is inversible emulsion water is hardly separated form oil even with oil/water separator.
Usage of 3-6kg POLIFLOCK deemulgator to 1m3 of used heated up to 70oC oil before separator gives perfect result with 1% of remain water in oil.

Case 4. Textile factory effluent
Textile factory has effluent rich in paints, high COD and Zn as heavy metal. Effluent colour changes from red to green, blue, etc. All effluent is discharged to city's system and reaches city waste water treatment plant. Unfortunately biological system can not remove paints effectively and treated effluent discharge to river has colour.
Usage of 100-1000mg/l Poliflock coagulant and 1mg/l Poliflock flocculant in flotation treatment system helps to remove paints and reduce COD and Zn to acceptable level. After treatment effluent discharged to city's network has not colour or only small.
Case 5. Fish factory effluent
Fish factory has very polluted waste water discharged to city's network. Waste water is rich in BOD, fats and very high P. Local waste water treatment plant works not effective and factory pays fines to municipality.
Usage of 500mg/l Poliflock coagulant and 5 mg/l Poliflock flocculent in flotation system helped to remove pollutants to acceptable level.
